Open but closed

          ROLLER ROOM DIVIDER is a room divider which can be controlled opening and closing by double layers pattern-cut fabrics. ‘Open but closed’ is the baseline of this project. It was stared from a simple paper model which has complicate pattens and structures. The journey to find a proper shape of patten, perfect proportion and sutable materials was the main work of this project.

Depend on user’s purposes, they can make the room divider is perfectly closed or open by rotating the fabric belt with patterns cutting which has a similar structure with conveyor belt system. It is available in three different size and pattern to apply in diverse situation.
