Timer showing the trace of time
RIBBON GLASS is a timer to show the time by winding and rewinding the ribbon. Ribbon draws various shapes of the curve each time like we live different life every day. Ribbon Glass is inspired by the reel of casette tape which plays the music and let people know how much time they listening the music at the same time.
The ribbon has six different colors. Each color of the ribbon indicates 5 minutes. All the ribbon is unreeled from the reel of center, It means 30 minutes has passed. By using a stepping motor, it is enable to control RPM and has less noise than other types of motor. Three LEDs are in the bottom part, it allows users to use the timer in the night time.
